Deputy Municipal Court Administrator (Part Time)
Township of Maple Shade, Burlington County a qualified, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual for the position of Part-Time Deputy Municipal Court Administrator. Interested candidates should possess excellent writing and communication skills with the proven ability to provide a high level of customer service. Applicants should have experience in all aspects of court administration, including a strong working knowledge of case flow management, the ATS/ACS computer system, PCSam, eMACS, Page Center and Zoom and MicroSoft Teams virtual platforms. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, processing complaints; on call duties, answering inquiries from the public, clients, attorney’s etc.; preparing, reviewing, evaluating, and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly reports; accepting bail and pleas of guilty with payments; drafting correspondence; complying with the New Jersey Rules of Court, Supreme Court Directives, laws and established policies and procedures governing the operation of the New Jersey Municipal Courts.
Accredited candidates are preferred but not mandatory. Pursuant to Rule 1:41- 3(d), all newly appointed deputy municipal court administrators who are not fully accredited or certified must obtain conditional accreditation within six months of the date of appointment, and full accreditation within three years of the date of appointment. The hiring process will comply with Rule 1:34-3, adopted September 13, 2011.

Part-Time Code Enforcement Officer
The Township of Maple Shade is seeking a Part-Time Code Enforcement Officer for 12-15 hours per week, $24.00/hour. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the public and other employees. Must be well organized, detail oriented and pro-active. Job responsibilities will include understanding, interpretation and enforcement of the Property Maintenance Code, Litter and Sign Regulations, conducting field inspections, issuing warnings or summonses where necessary and appearing in municipal court when required. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to send and receive emails. Applicant must be computer literate. UCC Building Inspector License or previous experience with general buildings/property inspections and work that would require knowledge of ordinance interpretation is preferred.
